Ford Ranger has long been one of the hardest working pick-ups in the business. Now available with an even longer list of ingenious technologies, it’s also one of the smartest.
Technology you can control with your voice
Ford SYNC 2 lets you control your music, phone, navigation system, and climate control using simple, intuitive voice commands or via the 8” colour touchscreen.
You can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”, or access the Michelin Guide to help you choose and book.
Wi-Fi connectivity is available via hotspots, with a USB modem. And Ford Emergency Assistance can automatically help call the Emergency Services in the event of an accident.
Cruise control that can adapt automatically
With Adaptive Cruise Control technology, you choose the speed you want to drive at and the system will maintain it.
If the built-in radar sensor detects a vehicle ahead, it will slow the car to maintain a pre-set distance. Once the road in front is clear, the system will accelerate back to your chosen speed.
Forward Alert, always looking ahead
This system can alert you if it senses a potential collision with the car in front and may help avoid an accident.* Radar in the front of the New Ranger detects slower vehicles traveling in the same direction, and provides a visual and audible warning if they’re rapidly approaching. If you don’t react and continue to get closer to the other vehicle, New Ranger will pre-charge and increase brake assist sensitivity, so even if the brakes are pressed lightly, they’ll automatically apply a harder force to stop you quickly.
From systems that can help you park and reverse more easily, to features that keep you informed, help you reach your destination and keep you warm…In the New Ranger, every remarkable technology has a real-world purpose
With Ford SYNC2, you can take easy control over key functions such as music, phone calls, the navigation system and climate control using your voice or via the 8” colour touchscreen. Enjoy audio entertainment via Radio, CD player, USB connection or Bluetooth audio streaming
Easier reversing, as you can view what’s behind
Bollards, railings, low walls… the rear view camera activates automatically when you select reverse gear and displays whatever’s behind you on an 8” screen* built into the instrument panel. The system also displays virtual guidelines, to help you park in the smallest of spaces.
